Zack Hample

Zack Hample, baseball snagging extraordinaire, and publisher of his 2nd book, Watching Baseball Smarter (which i just recently ordered), which you can get here, is someone i've followed on MLBlogs for a long time. If you haven't already seen the link to his blog on my page, you can visit him here. Well worth the read, as Zack fills in on his snagging adventures and more, featuring an impressive archive all the way back to 2005. Zack has currently snagged 3,277 balls from 42 major league ballparks, and I for one can't wait to see what he's gonna get up to this year. On a side note, I had a chance to watch him/snag against him in august 2007 at Citizens Bank park. Watching the expert in action was pretty cool, and even though we turned up 3 hours before game time and I didn't come away with a ball, it was well worth it, and it made me all the more determined to start my snagging collection....if only i could find a way to get to some major league games this year...
